Brief Summary of Protocol:
Your body’s immune system is your primary line of defense against infections and other things perceived as foreign to your body. Unfortunately, this immune system often fails to eliminate tumors or other cancerous growths.The drug diphenylcyclopropenone, or DPCP, modifies the immune system and has been shown to be effective in treating certain kinds of cancer, but is not as yet approved by the FDA for this use.

This study hopes to improve our understanding of how this drug helps create an effective immune response. The reason for doing this research is to better understand how the immune system can be activated to produce cells that may fight infections or cancers.

Detailed Description of Protocol:
About 12 people will participate in this research study. Participation will last from 4-8 weeks and involves:
- Blood work
- Receiving the study drug
- Ultrasounds
- Skin biopsies

The research will last as a whole about 5 years. This research study is sponsored by a drug company. The name of the Sponsor is Hapten Pharmaceuticals.

What specifically makes a person eligible for the study?
You may be eligible to enter this study:

- Ages 18-60
- Generally healthy
