The Rockefeller University is looking for subjects to participate in our inpatient clinical studies of addiction



Detailed Description of Protocol:




What specifically makes a person eligible for the study?
You may be eligible to enter this study:

Volunteers 18 years and older with no previous substantial drug use

Volunteers 18 years and older with cocaine or opiate (heroin or prescription opiate) addiction in or not in treatment

Volunteers 18 years and older who have former cocaine or opiate (heroin or prescription opiate) addiction in or not in continuing abstinence based treatment

Gender:
Both

Age(s):
18 and older

Children permitted to participate:
No

Potential Benefits.....
Subjects who meet the criteria for participation will benefit from comprehensive medical evaluation, time away from cocaine during hospitalization in a supportive environment, and treatment referral.

There will be no cost to participants
